Chris Pitaniello is the owner of KPI Properties of Colorado, one the largest individual brokers in the nation.  KPI began with 45 properties and currently has an inventory over 325. He is a senior executive who specializes in managing risk, maximizing profit and minimizing loss.

Chris brings increased profitability and competitiveness by managing prime and non-prime servicing portfolios, while focusing on special servicing groups that expeditiously and profitably dispose of defaulted assets.

He has extensive expertise and knowledge in:

Chris has previously worked as a consultant in process improvement for Dimont & Associates (San Diego, CA) where he was charged with streamlining workflow and efficiency processes, enhancing operating systems, designing incentive programs - as well as the firm's "Continuous Improvement Group."

Prior to this, Chris was a Senior Vice President, launching the Servicing Division of Aurora Loan Services (Aurora, CO), a Lehman Brothers Company.  As a member of a 14-member Executive Committee, he transformed an REO $60K cost center into a $175K profit center.  He established a High Risk Group of experts to concentrate on assets affected by litigation issues, resolving and returning assets for disposition.

Chris also has had previous posts with Ameriquest (Orange, CA) and Cal Fed/First Nationwide (Los Angeles, CA).  He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BS in Accounting from the University of Tulsa.

 

He has served on the Title Issues Panel of New York Title (2005), on the Panel on Servicing Issues of Mortgage Banking Association (2005) and is a current member of FNAMS Advisory Board.
